How can APS help select the best Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) for your project? We work closely with manufacturers, design and specification engineers, and end-users to fine tune Elastollan® and Maxelast® products to fit new application requirements. When selecting Elastollan® and Maxelast® you receive more than proven consistent products - you also receive technical support and responsive customer service.
Why Elastollan®? Elastollan® thermoplastic polyurethane elatomers (TPU) exhibit many desirable properties including extreme abrasion resistance and toughness, excellent adhesion and transparency, flexibility over a wide temperature range (-40° F to + 200° F) and resistance to degradation from water, oils, greases, fungus and other chemicals.
Why Maxelast®? Maxelast® combines the great properties of rubber (elasticity, cold weather resistance and soft touch) with the easy processibility of plastics. TPE products can be designed and fabricated faster, easier and more economically. TPE is finding more applications and enabling better and more elegant designs.
Are you ISO certified? In the NAFTA region BASF manufactures Elastollan® TPU in Wyandotte, Michigan. The BASF TPU business is ISO9001 certified. Each product comes with a certificate of analysis. Maxelast® is certified by SGS, UL, FDA, USP,and ISO.
How soon can orders be shipped? In most cases, orders can be shipped the same day we receive your purchase order.
